The former Secretary General of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Elder Anthony Sani, has lost his wife, Mary Folashade Coker.
According to Elder Sani, his wife died at the age of 70, and, “she will be buried tomorrow, being Friday, at our residence in Keffi, Nasarawa State”.
Meanwhile, a letter of condolence from Nasarawa State governor, Engr Abdullahi A. Sule, which was forwarded to our correspondent by Elder Sani, read in part: “On behalf of the government and entire good people of Nasarawa State, I wish to express our deepest sympathy at the loss of your wife.

“As a respected statesman who continues to provide us with guidance and advice in matters of the state based on your wisdom and experience, I wish to affirm that mama was such a constant bright light in everything she did, that our people of Nasarawa State will always remember her kindness.
“To lose such a dear anchor and a faithful companion for life, is truly a painful loss and my heart goes out to you in particular, and the rest of your family.
“We pray that may Almighty God forgive the sins of your dear wife and comfort the family.”
