Kebbi State Governor Dr Nasir Idris has presented a proposed budget of ₦580.32 billion for the 2025 fiscal year to the State House of Assembly.
Tagged the “Budget of Economic and Infrastructural Consolidation,” the proposal aims to drive economic growth and enhance infrastructure development across the state.

While presenting the budget, Idris revealed that ₦453 billion has been earmarked for capital projects, while ₦127 billion is allocated for recurrent expenditure.
In his remarks, the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mohammed Samaila Bagudo, assured the governor of the legislature’s commitment to a speedy review and passage of the budget.
