Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has pledged to work with the newly appointed Renewed Hope Agenda (RHA) Ambassador to State, Alhaji Sambo Gwandu.
Idris who stated this while receiving the Ambassador at Government House, Birnin Kebbi, assured him of full support and a productive partnership aimed at enlightening Nigerians on the dividends of democracy under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The Governor highlighted that the Renewed Hope Agenda aligns with Kebbi State’s development priorities, particularly in infrastructure, security, and socio-economic empowerment.
He reaffirmed Kebbi State’s unwavering support for President Tinubu, declaring, “We believe in the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Kebbi State is the number one supporter of the Tinubu administration.”
Idris lamented that despite the visible achievements of both the Federal and Kebbi State Governments, some opposition elements continue to spread negativity. While acknowledging that criticism is part of democracy, he stressed that it must be constructive and fair.

He noted that his administration inherited significant infrastructural decay but remains committed to transforming the state through people-centred projects.
The Governor expressed confidence in Alhaji Sambo Gwandu’s capability to effectively drive the Renewed Hope Agenda in Kebbi State.
Idris described the Ambassador as a dependable and principled individual, adding, “I know that if I go wrong, you will correct me. You are capable of delivering on your mandate.”
Earlier, Ambassador Sambo Gwandu who displayed a bus and a Hilux vehicle donated for RHA logistics operations in Kebbi State, assured the Governor of his commitment to promoting the developmental strides of both President Tinubu and Governor Idris.
He commended Governor Idris for his relentless efforts to improve every sector in the state, stressed that these achievements have projected Kebbi positively on the national and global stage.
