Youths under the aegis of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi Central Senatorial District have reaffirmed their commitment to rally support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kebbi Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, and Sen. Muhammadu Adamu-Aliero in the 2027 general elections.

The youths made their pledges on Wednesday at a mobilisation meeting organised under the leadership of Mr Musa Muhammad, Political Adviser to Sen. Aliero, at the APC Senatorial District Office, Birnin Kebbi.

The meeting brought together youth representatives from the local government areas that make up the senatorial district to strategise and mobilise support for APC candidates contesting from the national to the state level.

The representatives endorsed the candidature of President Tinubu, Gov. Idris, Sen. Adamu-Aliero and other APC candidates, while pledging to work collectively for the party’s success at the polls.

In his welcome address, a member of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Muhammad Buhari-Aliero, commended the organisers for convening the meeting, describing it as an important platform for strengthening unity among APC youths in the district.

Aliero urged the youths to put aside political differences and work together to ensure the success of all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.

“ I urge you to shun political differences and ensure all APC candidates are treated equally for the success and victory of our party in 2027,” he said.

He described the gathering as a demonstration of the youths’ commitment to the party and announced a donation of N1 million to support their mobilisation activities.

“ For this initiative by the Kebbi Central Senatorial District Youth of the APC, I hereby donate the sum of N1 million to facilitate your campaign activities,” Buhari-Aliero said.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu-Yaro Enabo, urged the youths to take the achievements of the APC-led governments to the grassroots as part of their mobilisation strategy.

“ Political campaigns have commenced. What remains for us is to showcase the achievements brought to the people of this state under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, Gov. Nasir Idris and Sen. Muhammadu Adamu-Aliero, from the city to the grassroots,” he said.

Yaro called on party supporters to work for all APC candidates without discrimination, stressing that unity was crucial to securing victory in the 2027 elections.

“ Whoever loves Gov. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, must also love Adamu-Aliero and all other APC candidates. We must work for our party with the fear of God if we truly want victory for the APC,” he said.

He expressed confidence that the party would emerge victorious in the elections, saying the governor would soon bring together APC candidates for a comprehensive campaign.

“ By God’s grace, our party will be victorious in 2027. Very soon, our able governor will assemble all our APC candidates and lead us for the 2027 campaign,” Aliyu-Yaro said.

He challenged opposition political parties to present their achievements to the electorate, saying the people should be allowed to assess the performance of political parties before casting their votes.

Also, Alhaji Umar Idris-Buro, an APC leader in the state, cautioned the youths against being deceived by the opposition, urging them to remain committed to the APC and intensify mobilisation across the senatorial district.

“ Do not allow yourselves to be deceived by opposition parties. You should mobilise and vote for the APC,” Idris-Buro said.
