While speaking with newsmen,Fingiller noted that the performances of the players in the the matches have shown that Kebbi state is the home of beach soccer.
“What we have seen today has shown us that Kebbi state is the home of beach soccer. We thank God that African beach soccer union is from Kebbi state and the rate at which he is promoting beach soccer in the state and in Nigeria, honestly, calls for commendation. I am happy to be here because I have seen a lot of talented players in this tournament. It was as if you are Lagos, with the different companies sponsoring the competition. Its shown that the game has come of age.
“My message to the youths is that they should develop interest in the beach soccer game, not only in the football because, if you look at the way Africans are playing this beach soccer, the sky is our limit”.
