Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Abdurrashid Muhammad Kuraye, an editorial staff member of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Katsina.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Governor described Kuraye’s death as a painful loss. He recalled that the deceased had served as a supervisory councillor during his tenure as Chairman of Charanchi Local Government Area.

“He was a jovial and easy-going man, a professional to the core. I will personally miss him, having worked closely with him during my time as Chairman of Charanchi,” the Governor said.

Radda also noted that Kuraye once served as Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, demonstrating dedication, loyalty, and competence in all his duties.

“Throughout his career in public service and broadcasting, he contributed significantly to governance and media development in Katsina State.”

The Governor prayed that Allah forgives Kuraye’s shortcomings, grants him Aljannatul Firdaus, and gives his family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
