Kanye West has postponed his show in France as authorities continued to weigh banning the rapper from entering the country.
The 48-year-old rapper took to his X to announce the cancellation, which he claims was his own decision.
This comes after it was claimed that French officials were considering barring him from entering the country due to the continuous issues surrounding him.
“After much thought and consideration, it is my sole decision to postpone my show in Marseille, France until further notice,” Kanye wrote on his X account on Tuesday night (April 14).

Kanye was scheduled to perform in Paris on June 11th at Marseille’s Stade Vélodrome.
Marseille Mayor Benoît Payan and French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez condemned his use of hate speech online and in music, stating that he has no place in the country.
“I refuse to let Marseille be a showcase for those who promote hatred and unabashed Nazism.
“Kanye West is not welcome at the Vélodrome, our temple of living together and belonging to all Marseillais,” Benoît previously wrote on X in early March.
