Chelsea are boosted by the news that midfielder N’Golo Kante is set to agree on a new contract.
There had been some rumours that Kante would depart under manager Maurizio Sarri.
But it appears the Frenchman is ready to commit to a new deal that will see him earn £290,000-a-week.
Per the Evening Standard, Chelsea are confident of sealing a deal in the coming months.
The Blues want the 27-year-old to be a key part of the first team for the next few years.
Kante’s current deal expires in 2021.
