The Director-General Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Lamin Rabiu Danbappa, has has assured the public of a successful 2024 hajj pilgrimage.
Speaking to journalists in Kano, Danbappa said preparations were already underway to ensure a successful pilgrimage season for Muslim pilgrimsfrom the state.
He acknoñedged the challenges recorded during last year’s hajj operaions attributing theem to the qualitty of preparations put in place for the exercise by the previous administration.
“The challenges faced during the last hajj were a result of decisions made by the previous administration. Rest assured, we are working tirelessly to rectify these issues and ensure a smooth pilgrimage experience for all participants in 2024,” said Danbappa.
The Director-General expressed gratitude to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his support, highlighting the collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing the overall hajj experience for pilgrims.
He stressed the government’s commitment towards providing the necessary resources for the conduct of a successful pilgrimage.
