The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) Kano State governorship candidate, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has praised members of the Kwankwasiyya social media team for their dedication and impact, describing them as a driving force behind the movement’s increasing visibility and engagement across digital platforms.
Speaking during a meeting with more than 132 Kwankwasiyya social media representatives in Kano, he said the team’s efforts had played a vital role in promoting the movement’s activities, achievements and message to a broader audience.
The social media team consists of content creators and influencers active on Facebook, X, TikTok, Instagram and other digital platforms.
In a statement by his spokesperson, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, he expressed gratitude for the group’s commitment and professionalism.
“We have so much respect for the Kwankwasiyya social media team and they are making us proud,” he said.

Gwarzo also mentioned that the movement’s national leader and NDC vice presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has praised the team’s performance and dedication. “Our national leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is very happy with you and proud of your performance,” he said.
The NDC candidate pledged to prioritise capacity building for members of the social media team, emphasising the importance of training and skills development in the rapidly changing digital communication landscape.
“We believe in training and retraining. We will ensure that training opportunities are provided for you, including modern technological tools and techniques that will enhance your performance,” he said.
He assured the team of support and cooperation as they work to strengthen public engagement and broaden the movement’s reach.
He also called on them to remain focused, professional and committed to promoting the movement’s message while upholding high ethical standards online.
