A middle aged woman, who was delivered of five beautiful babies (quintuplets) on Wednesday has died in Kano, leaving behind her family and her five babies.
The death of the deceased was confirmed on Thursday morning by the Public Relations Officer, Kano State Ministry of Health, Labilusi Kofar Nai’sa.
“The doctors did their best to save the mother but unfortunately she didn’t make it” he stated in an audio message adding that the babies were in a stable condition.

Daily Sun reports that the deceased was delivered of the babies at the Murata Mohammed Specialists Hospital in the state capital on Wednesday, sparking off excitement and joy among the residents of the state.
The tragic news has replaced the joy with widespread sympathy and grief.
It was gatherd that the authorities and some private individuals are interested in the case and may step in to support the family in raising the kids.
