Kano State Government has provided meals to pilgrims from the state currently in Saudi Arabia for Hajj pilgrimage.
Head of the state’s Hajj media team, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu disclosed this in a press statement at the weekend.
According to the statement, the meals are of high quality and aimed at ensuring the well-being and comfort of the pilgrims during their stay in the Holy land.
He added that the meals are being provided twice a day to all pilgrims from the state, regardless of their background or socio-economic status.
He further said that the state government had deployed a team of medical professionals to provide medical care of the pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.
The medical team, which included doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, is stationed at the state pilgrims’ camp in Mecca where they provide medical assistance to pilgrims night and day.
According to him, the gesture has been widely acknowledged by the pilgrims and stakeholders alike, who had commended the state government for its commitment to the welfare of its citizens.
