Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero has congratulated the Governor-elect of Kano State, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf on his victory at the elections conducted on Saturday 18th March 2023.
In a letter signed by the monarch, he noted that the people have fully accepted the democratic system of government as a preferred way to elect their leaders looking at how they came out en masse to cast their votes as provided by the constitution.
Bayero thanked imams, priests and the rest of the community for their prayers for peace, before, during and after the elections.
Bayero tasked the governor-elect to accommodate all groups and communities in his government, saying that doing so will help improve the lives of thr people
He prayed for peace and stability in the state as well as in other parts of the country while praying for the successful completion of his tenure of the present administration in the state. End
