Kano ADC inaugurates independent campaign council

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) yesterday, inaugurated the party’s Independent Campaign Council in Kano State.

The Council is charged with the responsibility of mobilizing new members from across the 44 LGAs of the state.

The occasion, presided over by the State Chairman of the party, Musa Ungogo, took place at the Mallam Aminu Kano Center for Democratic Studies, Mmabbayya House, Kano.

Speaking at the occasion, the chairman of the party expressed delight at the interests the party has generated in the state, urging the members of the committee to sustain the drive across the state.

In his acceptance remarks, Kano State Coordinator of the Independent Campaign Council,  Bashir Adamu explained that they were mandated to mobilize Nigerians, young and old, from across the LGs of the state

He added that though the assignment was enormous, they were resolved to work assiduously ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He remarked that the Council would support all the leaders of the party in the state and would not take sides.

He enjoined his members to observe the rules of decency, fair play and respect the laws of the land in the discharge of their assignment, while reminding them that mobilization and campaign processes must align itself to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
