Hon. Abdulazeez Kaka has dissolved his 2027 House of Representatives Primary Election Campaign Council and unveiled a new political platform, Team Kaka for Renewed Hope, in a move aimed at strengthening unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna North Federal Constituency.

The dissolution was announced in a statement by the Chairman of the dissolved Campaign Council, Hon. Garba Adamu (Flour Mill), who said the decision followed what he described as the “fatherly intervention” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu after the APC primary.

According to the statement, the newly formed Team Kaka for Renewed Hope will serve as a broader platform to mobilise grassroots support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda through civic engagement, youth and women empowerment, policy advocacy, and initiatives promoting national unity, sustainable development and good governance.

The statement described the new platform as the beginning of a fresh political chapter, noting that members of the dissolved campaign structure would constitute its foundation, while details of its formal inauguration and activities would be announced in due course.

Kaka’s camp thanked members of the dissolved campaign council, various directorates, volunteers, support groups and APC faithful for their commitment and sacrifices during the primary election, describing their loyalty as invaluable.

It also reaffirmed its loyalty to President Tinubu, Governor Uba Sani and the APC leadership, while expressing appreciation to the people of Kaduna North for their support throughout the primary process.

Reacting to the development, the APC House of Representatives candidate for Kaduna North Federal Constituency, Malam Samaila Suleiman, described the dissolution of the campaign council and the formation of the new platform as a positive step towards reconciliation and party cohesion.

In a goodwill message, Suleiman commended Kaka for embracing reconciliation, saying politics should ultimately be about service, unity and a shared commitment to the progress of the party and the constituency.

He extended what he called a hand of fellowship to Kaka, members of Team Kaka for Renewed Hope and all APC supporters, urging them to close ranks and work together in the collective interest of the party and the people of Kaduna North.

Suleiman reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive representation, people-centred leadership and sustainable development, stressing that, with the primary election concluded, the party’s attention should now be focused on meeting the expectations of the electorate and consolidating the APC’s strength ahead of the 2027 general election.
