In Kaduna State today, that story is increasingly one of ambition, structure, and long-term vision.
Under the administration of Governor Uba Sani, urban development has moved beyond routine infrastructure provision into a coordinated revolution aimed at transforming how people live, work, and do business. That vision was vividly underscored on Saturday with the groundbreaking ceremony of Kaima Smart City in Pmape, Kagarko Local Government Area. The event was more than a ceremonial turning of the sod; it was a declaration of intent.
By formally launching a project valued at over $700 million, the Kaduna State Government under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani signaled its readiness to compete for global capital, leverage its strategic location, and redefine its urban future.
Kaima Smart City is deliberately positioned as an economic, cultural, and commercial gateway linking Kaduna State to the Federal Capital Territory. Importantly, Kaima Smart City does not stand alone. It complements a broader tapestry of urban development initiatives being pursued by the Governor Uba Sani administration.
