The Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KADCCIMA) has announced that the 46th Kaduna International Trade Fair will be held from 14th to 23rd February 2025 at the Kaduna International Trade and Investment Centre, Kaduna-Zaria Expressway, Kaduna.

This year’s theme, “Promoting Efficiency in Manufacturing, Trade, and Agriculture through Digital Transformation,” aims to support the government’s efforts to advance the economy through digital innovation.

According to the 1st Deputy President of KADCCIMA, Alh. Farouk Suleiman, the organisation has been working tirelessly to prepare for the event, inviting manufacturers, producers, and distributors from within and outside Nigeria to participate.

He added that some countries expressing interest in participating include India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Morocco, and the Niger Republic.

Briefing newsmen on the development, Suleiman emphasised the need for the government to introduce policies that support local businesses, such as enforcing the use of local content in contracts and providing incentives for local manufacturers.

He further stressed the importance of constant engagement between the government and the private sector to address economic challenges.

“The trade fair promises to be an exciting event, with a moderate turnout expected from both local and international participants.

“The event will provide a platform for businesses to showcase their products and services, and for investors to explore opportunities in Nigeria,” he said.
