Super Eagles striker, Ademola Lookman could feature in the 2025 edition of the FIFA FIFA Club World Cup.
The tournament is scheduled for in the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025, as it’s planned to be the first under an expanded format with 32 teams, including the winners of the four previous continental championships.
SportingSun sourced on Italy’s news outlet, La Repubblica, that Juventus are dreaming of having Ademola Lookman and Sandro Tonali in the squad when the FIFA Club World Cup starts.
The Bianconeri have already started working well ahead of schedule and are trying to move as quickly as possible to have a strong squad in place by June 14th.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian, himself dreams of joining Juventus next season.
Lookman has been one of Atalanta’s standout performers since joining from RB Leipzig. His form has attracted the attention of Juventus, who view him as an ideal fit for their front line. Atalanta, however, is expected to demand a fee in the region of €60m to part ways with the London-born winger.
Meanwhile, Daniele Longo: “Juventus’ top target for next season is Sandro Tonali. It certainly won’t be easy for Juve to sign the Newcastle midfielder. The Magpies have yet to make a decision on the player.”
