President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commenced a three-week vacation in Europe, with his first stop in London, the United Kingdom.

The President’s departure was disclosed on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, who said Tinubu would spend the period on his annual leave before returning to Nigeria.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave.”

“His first stop will be London, United Kingdom.”

Onanuga said the President’s return would coincide with preparations for the January 2027 election, as Tinubu is expected to resume his political activities and campaign engagements.

“President Tinubu is expected to return home after the working vacation to join the hectic campaign for the January 2027 election.”

The President’s trip comes as political activities ahead of the 2027 general election continue to gather momentum, with parties and prospective candidates intensifying preparations for the polls.
