Senator Seriake Dickson, the former governor of Bayelsa State, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
Dickson, who is currently addressing a world press conference, stated that he is a man of conviction and that the PDP is currently in the Intensive Care Unit, (ICU).

According to him, the nation and Nigeria cannot be a one party State.
