Parts of Dekina local government area of Kogi state is currently boiling as thugs invade Anyigba, Dekina town and Abocho carting away and destroying INEC materials after shooting sporadically to disperse voters
According to an eye witness account one notorious thug named Akaihaba was shot dead while attempting to snatch ballot boxes at Agwudoko area in Anyigba in Dekina local government.
At Udaba-Dekina, ballot boxes were allegedly destroyed by gunmen who were allegedly sponsored by a retired woman officer from local government in Kogi state.
Reports reaching our correspondent from Dekina town has it that Tudunwada polling unit has just been destroyed by a sponsored group.
It was however gathered that other areas like Egume, Ojikpadala, Abejulo – Egume, Acharu are voting smoothly.
