JUST IN: Neymar makes Brazil’s World Cup squad

Brazil’s all-time goal scorer, Neymar has been included in the Selecao’s final squad for the 2026 World Cup.

Head coach, Carlo Ancelotti unveiled the squad list on Monday.

The Santos forward’s participation in the World Cup had been a subject of intense speculation for several weeks.

Also included in the squad is Barcelona’s Raphinha, who recently recovered from injury, Real Madrid’s Vinicius and Endrick, who is on loan at Lyon.

Chelsea’s Joao Pedro and Andrey Santos were left out.

Goalkeepers: Alisson (Liverpool), Ederson (Fenerbahçe) y Weverton (Gremio).

Defence:: Danilo (Flamengo), Wesley (Roma), Marquinhos (Paris Saint Germain), Gabriel Magalhaes (Arsenal), Leo Pereira (Flamengo), Bremer (Juventus), Ibáñez (Al Ahli), Alex Sandro (Flamengo) y Douglas Santos (Zenit).

Midfield:: Casemiro (Manchester United), Bruno Guimarães (Newcastle), Danilo (Botafogo), Fabinho (Al Ittihad) y Paquetá (Flamengo).

Attack: Vinicius Jr (Real Madrid), Matheus Cunha (Manchester United), Neymar (Santos), Raphinha (Barcelona), Rayan (Bournemouth), Igor Thiago (Brentford), Luiz Henrique (Zenit), Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal) y Endrick (Olympique de Lyon).
