Former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai has been arraigned for allegedly accessing the telephone conversation of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu.
According to online reports, El-Rufai was brought before a federal high court in Abuja on Thursday by the Department of State Services (DSS). He is being prosecuted on a five-count amended charge.
During Thursday’s proceedings, the court was informed by the prosecution that the charge had been amended from three counts to five counts.

Subsequently, the presiding judge, Joyce Abdulmalik, struck out the previous count.
El-Rufai pleaded not guilty to the five-count amended charge.
