Just In: Ambode recommends 25 years for rape

Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has recommended 25 years imprisonment for offenders of sexual abuse in the state.

According to him, sexual abuse, particularly rape, should not be met with light sentences.

The governor spoke after leading a synbolic walk on violence against women at Alausa, Ikeja.
