The parish priest of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Izombe in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State, Reverend Father John Ubaechu abducted on Sunday March 23 has regained his freedom.
A release signed by the Archdiocesan Chancellor/secretary of the church,Reverend father Patrick Mbarah said he was released on March ,26 after spending almost three days in captivity .

The priest was abducted on his way to a retreat along Ejemekwuru road,Uguta in the evening as earlier disclosed by the archdiocese.
