Julius Berger Nigeria Plc has won three major awards at the 2026 Eurocham Nigeria AGM and Gala Awards Night, in recognition of its performance in construction, infrastructure delivery, local content development and engineering.
The company emerged winner in the Construction & Infrastructure, Local Content & Skills Training, and Heavy Machinery & Engineering categories at the event held at the Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The awards formed part of the 8th Annual General Meeting and Gala & Awards Night of Eurocham Nigeria, which brought together business leaders, diplomats, policymakers and other stakeholders in the European-Nigerian business community.
The organisers said the awards were determined through a public online voting process, making Julius Berger’s success a reflection of the support it received from stakeholders, industry observers and members of the public.
The Construction & Infrastructure award recognised the company’s involvement in the delivery of major infrastructure projects, while the Local Content & Skills Training award highlighted its investment in developing Nigerian manpower and technical skills.
The Heavy Machinery & Engineering award, on the other hand, recognised the company’s technical capabilities, equipment base and capacity to execute complex engineering projects.

Julius Berger has been involved in the construction of roads, bridges, industrial facilities and other major infrastructure projects across Nigeria.
The company has also implemented skills acquisition, technical training and knowledge-transfer programmes aimed at strengthening local capacity in the construction industry.
Receiving the awards on behalf of the company, Region West Technical Manager, Engr. Christl Thomas, thanked Eurocham Nigeria and dedicated the honours to Julius Berger’s employees, clients, partners and other stakeholders.
Thomas said the recognition would encourage the company to continue raising its standards in project delivery and pursuing innovative, sustainable and quality-driven solutions.
The latest awards add to Julius Berger’s recognition in Nigeria’s construction and engineering sector, particularly in infrastructure delivery, technical capacity development and local content advancement.
Eurocham Nigeria described the 2026 AGM and Gala Awards Night as an opportunity to celebrate corporate excellence, innovation and partnerships within the European-Nigerian business community.
