Judicial Panel on Police Brutality to commence sitting in Jos

The Judicial Panel on the Investigation of Complaints of Police Brutality and Extra-judicial killings set up by Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong would commenced Inaugural sitting on Monday.
The Panel, which is headed by a retired Judge of the Plateau State High Court, Justice Philomena Lot has invited the public to it Inaugural sitting at the Dadin-Kowa Youth Center, Jos by 10am
In a press statement signed by the Secretary of the Panel and Permanent Secretary CSS, Cornelius D. Shiobial urged members of the public who have complaints of police brutality and other extra-judicial killings to.make submission.

 

“Members of the public who have complaints of police brutality and other extra-judicial killings are encouraged to make their submissions to the panel as it commences its assignment.”
He encouraged members of the public to adhere strictly to COVID-19 protocols and insisted that the Panel will observed the protocol strictly.
