Anthony Joshua is still waiting to see whether Deontay Wilder will agree to fight him and the British boxer poked fun at the situation with a humorous tweet.

Joshua posted a picture of himself upside down at his boxing gym and accompanied it with the caption: ‘Sorry for not posting in a while.. I’ve just been hanging around waiting for a signature’.

A fight between Joshua and Wilder has been speculated about for some time, but Joshua and his promoter Eddie Hearn still waiting on Wilder’s team to return their comments on a contract that was sent to the US two weeks ago.

While the wait to fight Wilder goes on, Joshua has some other fights to look forward to.

It was recently announced that Joshua will have two fights at Wembley Stadium, which will be held on September 22 and and April 19.

Joshua is expected to face WBA mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin in his first fight.

The last time that Joshua was in action was in March, when he defeated Joseph Parker in Cardiff.

Prior to that Joshua had defeated Carlos Takam and Wladimir Klitschko, with the latter fight taking place at Wembley.

Wilder’s last fight, meanwhile, was in March as he defeated Luis Ortiz.
