Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday hosted 2023 presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi to a closed-door meeting in his Abuja residence.
Obi shared photos with the ex-president on X after the meeting.
Although details of discussions at the meeting remain unknown, the former Anambra governor said it centred on the state of the nation.

He described the meeting as “fruitful”.
He said, “Today in Abuja, I met with my very dear elder brother, statesman, and leader, former President Goodluck Jonathan @GEJonathan.
“We had a fruitful closed-door meeting and discussed the state of our dear nation.”
Jonathan and Obi have been named as possible challengers to President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
