Jobberman Nigeria, the nation’s recruitment and career development platform, has launched Her Next Move, a nationwide campaign designed to empower young Nigerian women with actionable skills, confidence, and workforce opportunities.
In partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, the initiative provides free online training and professional certification to women aged 18 to 35. The campaign addresses key career transitions, helping participants enter the job market, advance into senior roles, or navigate global freelance and gig opportunities.
Built around the core message, “Your Future. Your Skills. Your Move,” the initiative places female inclusion at the center of national workforce development.
To drive engagement, Jobberman is collaborating with young female creators across Nigeria to share authentic stories around ambition, career shifts, and personal growth via social media. The narrative encourages women to define career success on their own terms and take concrete steps toward those goals.
Speaking on the launch, Olamide Adeyeye, Country Head of Programmes at Jobberman Nigeria, stated: “Many young Nigerian women possess immense ambition but lack an affordable, clear place to start. ‘Her Next Move’ is designed to be that launch pad. Whether a woman is preparing for her first job, aiming for a promotion, or looking to earn through freelance work, the right skills bridge the gap between wanting the next step and being ready for it.”
Adeyeye added: “By removing cost barriers through our partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, our message to every young woman is simple: decide what your next move is, and take it.”
Her Next Move reinforces Jobberman’s commitment to expanding equitable access to career growth, skill acquisition, and economic empowerment for young women across Nigeria.
