JNC International Limited (JNCI) has joined the Healthcare Federation of Nigeria’s (HFN) Health Guardians Initiative, strengthening private-sector efforts to drive healthcare reforms, influence policy direction and address systemic challenges confronting Nigeria’s health sector.

The partnership places renewed emphasis on the role of private-sector expertise, collaboration and innovation in advancing reforms needed to build a more accessible, efficient and sustainable healthcare system.

Through the Health Guardians Initiative, HFN is mobilising organisations across the healthcare value chain to support policy advocacy, strengthen stakeholder engagement and promote practical solutions to persistent gaps in healthcare delivery. The platform seeks to deepen private-sector participation in shaping reforms that can improve healthcare infrastructure, service delivery and health outcomes nationwide.

JNCI’s formal entry into the initiative builds on a longstanding relationship with HFN and reinforces its commitment to the Federation’s healthcare reform agenda. The partnership creates a platform for closer collaboration on policy engagement, healthcare system development and the deployment of expertise to support improvements across the sector.

HFN President, Njide Ndili, said JNCI’s experience in healthcare infrastructure, medical technology and service delivery would strengthen collective efforts to advance reforms and improve the performance of Nigeria’s health system.

“JNCI has been a valued partner of HFN for many years, and we are pleased to formalise this longstanding relationship through the Health Guardians Initiative. Their expertise in healthcare infrastructure, medical technology and service delivery brings valuable depth to our collective efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s health system. We look forward to deepening this partnership and working together to advance practical solutions that can improve the quality, accessibility and sustainability of healthcare in Nigeria,” Ndili said.

For JNCI, the partnership offers an opportunity to contribute more actively to policy discussions and collaborative initiatives aimed at addressing structural challenges in healthcare delivery, expanding access to medical technology and strengthening local capacity.

The company said its continued engagement with HFN reflects a shared commitment to healthcare reform through innovation, technical expertise and stronger private-sector collaboration.

“This recognition builds on a longstanding partnership rooted in a shared commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s healthcare system through innovation, expertise and meaningful private-sector collaboration. Beyond this milestone, we remain committed to advancing healthcare infrastructure, expanding access to medical technology and supporting better health outcomes,” JNCI said.

Established in 2003, JNCI is a turnkey medical equipment and healthcare solutions company providing medical technology, equipment installation and commissioning, technical support, capacity development and healthcare consultancy. Its expertise spans radiology, oncology, surgery, critical care, endoscopy, cardiovascular care, infection control and digital health.

The company has supported healthcare institutions in Nigeria and across the region in upgrading infrastructure and deploying advanced medical technologies. It has also participated in efforts to strengthen local healthcare manufacturing and reduce dependence on imported medical products, including a partnership with Abbott and Afrimedical to localise rapid diagnostic test manufacturing in Nigeria.

The HFN Health Guardians Initiative brings together organisations committed to healthcare transformation through policy advocacy, strategic partnerships, innovation and private-sector engagement. As a Health Guardian, JNCI joins this network in supporting efforts to advance reforms and strengthen Nigeria’s healthcare system.
