The Agaba of Jiwa Chiefdom in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Idris Musa, has donated N1 million to the FCT Renewed Hope Ambassadors, a pro-group championing President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
The traditional ruler handed over the cheque on Wednesday during a visit by the group’s coordinator, Adamu Abdullahi, to his palace. Musa praised Tinubu’s leadership, hailing the appointment of Barrister Nyesom Wike as FCT Minister and Abdullahi – whom he called “my son” – as the ambassadors’ coordinator.
“I declare my unreserved commitment to the President’s re-election. Within my influence in the FCT and beyond, I will personally lead efforts to mobilise support for President Tinubu,” Musa declared. He described Wike’s appointment as a “laudable and brotherly gesture” promoting inclusive governance for Abuja residents.

Abdullahi, in his response, lauded Tinubu’s administration for its “deliberate and inclusive approach,” spotlighting key appointments, infrastructure projects, and policies to make Abuja a symbol of national unity and prosperity.
He underscored the role of traditional rulers in development, urging them to engage village heads and community leaders. Abdullahi also requested Musa’s approval for the ambassadors to meet tribal chiefs in Jiwa communities, stressing that “peaceful coexistence remains the foundation for sustainable development in the capital.”
