Dr Jimoh Ibrahim, the APC senatorial candidate for Ondo South Senatorial District, has felicitated wife of the state governor, Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, on the occasion of her 69th birthday.
Ibrahim, in a statement signed on Wednesday in Okitipupa, described Mrs Akeredolu as an amiable personality, with milk of human kindness flowing in her veins.
The business mogul said that the governor’s wife had sustained a grand and enviable support base for the development of women and the girl-child in the state over the years.
He also lauded Mrs Anyanwu-Akeredolu for churning out champions from her Bemore Boot Camp project every year, saying that this had had been exposing female students across the state to skills acquisition and learning process beyond the classroom.
According to him, the support and succour being given to women with breast cancer by the governor’s wife has won her national and international acclaim.
“Through her support service, she has etched her name as an amazon of philanthropy in the minds of the people, both in the state and beyond.
“I also appreciate our first lady for being a formidable support base for her husband, Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,” Ibrahim said.
He wished the celebrator happy birthday and many more years of service to women emancipation. (NAN)
