Family, friends, colleagues, and well wishers will converge on Eziama Onicha Community in Ezinihitte Local Government Area, Imo State to bid the late Mr. Emeka Iwuagwu (a.k.a Galore) farewell as his remains are committed to the Mother Earth on Frtday, July 24, 2026.
The late Iwuagwu passed away on March 31, 2026 during a brief illness at the age of 54.
His final journey began on June 26, 2026 with a Service of Songs which was held at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Egbeda, Lagos where family members, friends, colleagues at work and church members paid glowing tributes to the late insurance guru.
The late Iwuagwu was variously described as humble, generous, and compassionate, attributes that endeared him to many who knew him. Those who spoke at the service of songs said he impacted lives positively and would be sorely missed.
According to the burial arrangements released by his family, his body will depart from the Holy Rosary Farewell Home, Ogbor Nguru at 8am on Friday, July 24, 2026. His body will lie in state by 9am at the late Nze Ebere Iwuagwu’s compound in Eziama Onicha, Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA, Imo State.
There will be a funeral service in his honour at St. Paul’s Anglican Church (combined Ekeoha) Onicha, Ezinihitte Mbaise after which interment follows at 11am at the Iwuagwus family compound.
The late Emeka Iwuagwu is survived by his aged mother, wife, son, sisters, and other relatives.
