Ivorian content creator Fanny Roki Awa has credited her paternal grandparents with playing a major role in her upbringing.

Awa, who was born in Man, Côte d’Ivoire, on October 16, 2002, said she spent part of her childhood living with her paternal grandparents in Port-Bouët.

She said her grandparents were instrumental in shaping her early years.

“They trained and made sure I became this person I am today, and I will always be grateful for their love and care,” she said.

Awa said she grew up in a large family with several siblings and described her parents as having raised the children with love.

She said she began using TikTok in 2021, initially for entertainment, before her activities on the platform became more serious from 2022.

She said her videos subsequently attracted attention and led to opportunities to work with brands.

“The more you show up, the more your visibility gives you a reason to earn,” she said.

Awa also said she plans to establish a business, although she did not disclose details about the venture.

“I will start a business soon, but I want it to be a surprise,” she said.

She said she intends to continue creating content while pursuing further education and developing her business interests.
