Following his ouster from the ongoing ITTF World Cup in Macao, Nigerian table tennis star Aruna Quadri has described his defeat as hurtful, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Placed in a tough group 15, the Nigerian International suffered a massive 4-0 defeat to Daniel Gonzalez on the first game.
Aruna ouster was confirmed after another defeat to Marcos Freitas of Portugal in the final group game.
Despite working hard in the game, Aruna lost 12-10, 11-9, 11-9, 3-11.
“ The first 3 sets were so close and could have gone either way like it happened.
“ But that happens in the game, I lost and it was hurtful”, he said.
