Despite reaching the Round of 16 in WTT Frankfurt in Germany, the Nigerian table tennis sensation, Aruna Quadri remained stagnant in the latest ITTF ranking, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Quadri defeated Harimoto in the Round of 32, 3-2 before he succumbed to the firepower of Ricardo Walter of Germany by the same scoreline.

ITTF released the latest ranking on Wednesday morning, and Aruna remained in the 21st position with 1405 points, and Egyptian star Omar Assar eventually overtook him to place 20th with 1408 points.

Aruna will have the opportunity to improve his ranking when the tournament train moves to Fukuoka, Japan, next week.
