Nigeria’s table tennis team claimed their second gold in the ongoing ITTF African Championship in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
It was all Nigerian affairs in the final game on Saturday morning, with the duo of Adegoke Muizz and AbdulBasit facing favourites Olajide Omotayo and Matthew Kuti.
But it was Muizz and Abdulbasit who triumphed at the end of the keenly contested encounter.
The victory means that Nigeria secured her second gold medal in the championship.
