In a ceremony held at the Government House Chamber, Prof. Henry Ogiri was officially sworn in as the Commissioner of Power in the Rivers State cabinet. The event was graced by His Excellency, Similaye Fubara, and other dignitaries.
Prof Henry Ogiri, a seasoned professional in the private and educational sectors, brings with him years of experience and a wealth of skills. His expertise is expected to significantly contribute to the progress and development of the state’s power sector.
In his address, His Excellency Similaye Fubura expressed his confidence in the new commissioner’s capabilities. He urged prof. Henry to work diligently for the benefit of the state and the nation at large. The governor also offered prayers for guidance and success from Almighty God for the new commissioner in his responsibilities.
Prof. Henry Ogiri appointment is seen as a strategic move to enhance the state’s power infrastructure solution, promising a brighter and more sustainable future for River State.
