The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) is set to graduate and present start-up packs to over 5,300 Nigerians under its 2023 special skills intervention programmes.

The graduation ceremonies will take place between 13th November and November 24, 2023 across the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Director, Public Affairs Department, Suleyol Fred-Chagu, said the state governors would be special guests at the events in their respective states.

He said Dr. Doris Anite Uzoaka will be the special guest and distinguished guest respectively at the National closing ceremony in Abuja. β€œThe programmes that have been implemented under the 2023 skills intervention programmes include the National Industrial Skills Development Programme (NISDP), the Women Skills Empowerment Programme (WOSEP), Construction Skills Empowerment programme (CONSEP), Agripreneurship Skills Empowerment Programme (AgSEP) and the Skills Training and Empowerment Programme for the Physically Challenged (STEPP-C).”

He noted that the implementation of the programmes, which commenced in June, 2023, lasted for a period of three months and equipped trainees with cutting-edge skills in several trades.
