All eyes are on Ademola Lookman’s condition at Atalanta as the Europa League defending champion prepares to resume its Serie A campaign with an away match against Parma this weekend.
The Nigerian striker sustained an injury last Thursday during the Super Eagles’ 2025 AFCON qualifying match against Benin in Abidjan, the Ivorian capital.
Lookman took precautionary leave from the final game against Rwanda and returned early to Italy.
According to Fantacalcio, Lookman is currently training separately due to the bruise he suffered and is doubtful for Atalanta’s match against Parma.
This season, he has been one of the club’s standout performers, contributing eight goals and five assists in 14 games.
