The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has warned those it described as miscreans that it would no longer tolerate the destructions and killings in Igbo land.

The group also maintained that it’s former Director of Service (DOS) Simon Ekpa remained sac

ked from the group following his anti – struggles that did not conform with the agenda of IPOB.

According to a statement by the spokesperson of the group, Emma Powerful, Ekpa would soon be rendered powerless after the final plans of the Nnamdi Kanu led IPOB put a nail to the coffin of his numerous anti-IPOB activities.

Powerful admitted that Ekpa has been responsible for the bad names ascribed to the group in recent times for his selfish motive but added that the ex-DOS’ recruitment of miscreants to enforce Sit-at-home orders would soon be a thing of the past.

He regretted that their leader, Nnamdi Kanu had reposed confidence on Ekpa, noting that Ekpa decided to betray Kanu because of his greed and avarice for fame.

“IPOB remains one family, and nobody can divide it, not even Simon Ekpa. He’s a nobody picked by our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu but he has betrayed him. We have plans to curtail his excesses. Very, very soon he would fizzle out. Nobody will hear of him again.

“Our leader has committed no offence but still in the DSS custody. He would be out soon and all the traitors will pay for their actions. Enough of the destructions and killings in Igbo land.

“Ekpa has continued to fix the sit-at-homes in the South East but I thank God people have known who the true IPOB is. Ekpa would be put in his place in no distant time.

“We implore all our members to double their efforts in the Biafra struggle. Nobody should listen to Simon Ekpa. He’s a traitor and very soon he would be treated like one.

“As we have discovered, Ekpa and his renegades are responsible for the atrocities committed in the South-East in the name of sit-at-home. That would no longer be tolerated,” Powerful said.
