In a bold move to solidify its position as Nigeria’s premier platform for STEM education and youth empowerment, Interswitch is set to premiere the seventh season of its flagship national science competition, InterswitchSPAK on November 9, 2025.
The event promises to ignite the passion of young Nigerians, showcasing the brightest minds from secondary schools across the country in a riveting 13-week contest that could transform their futures.
According to Interswitch, the season will feature exceptional students from states including Kaduna, Abuja, Abia, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Ogun, and others, vying for top honours and life-changing scholarships valued at over N35 million.
The competition’s preliminary rounds will kick off on November 9, with 81 students battling across nine episodes until January 4, 2026. The strongest 27 will then advance to the semi-finals, airing from January 11 to 25, before culminating in the grand finale on February 1, 2026, where nine finalists will compete for the ultimate prizes.
The competition will also be broadcast nationwide on television stations.
The show’s digital presence continues to amplify its reach, inspiring a new generation of Nigerian youth to pursue excellence in STEM.
Cherry Eromosele, Executive Vice President of Group Marketing and Corporate Communications at Interswitch, emphasized the programme’s growing significance adding, “Over the years, InterswitchSPAK has evolved beyond a competition into a platform that inspires excellence and showcases the remarkable potential of young Nigerians.
Eromosele stressed that each season; Interswitch witness students push boundaries, demonstrate resilience, and shine brightly on the national stage.

He said beyond the immediate rewards, outstanding students will walk away with scholarships worth over N35 million, including monthly stipends, brand-new laptops, and other exciting prizes. “However, the true essence of InterswitchSPAK lies in its mission to build a pipeline of innovators, problem-solvers, and future leaders who will harness STEM to drive Nigeria and Africa forward.”
Now in its seventh year, InterswitchSPAK continues to be a catalyst for academic brilliance and innovation, nurturing the next generation of African leaders.
