Internet fraud: EFCC nabs suspect with exotic car, watch, N2m cash in Abuja

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday arrested one suspected internet fraudster in Abuja.

In a statement, the EFCC said its operatives arrested the unnamed suspect at No.25 Aliyu Modibbo Street, Guzape Hills, Abuja following credible intelligence on his alleged involvement in internet fraud.

The EFCC said a Range Rover Velar 2019 model, $4,100, N 2 million cash, One AP silver wrist watch, two mobile phones and one laptop were recovered from the suspect.

“He will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations,” the anti-graft commission said.
