International Women’s Day: Kebbi Gov’s  Wife, Zainab empowers 5,500 women at Yeldu’s community

As part of the activities lined up to mark  this year International Women’s Day Celebration,the wife of Kebbi State Governor, and  Founder NASARA Foundation,Hajiya Zainab Nasir Idris has empowered 5,500 women with the sum of about N165 million.
  The disbursement,which took place at a rural Community,Yeldu town of Arewa Local Government Area of the state was said to have been designed to enable the  beneficiaries to engage in self economic ventures and be self reliance.
  It could be recalled that this year International Women Day is: ” Invest in Women :  Accelerate Progress”.
While addressing the beneficiaries, Hajiya Zainab explained that they should  invest the money given to them into their business  in other to assist their families.
 According to her, “I want to  assure you all that that more good policies and Programmes have been designed to cater for women and Youth by the present administration of my husband, Dr Nasir Idris. Be rest assure that you shall be continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy in Kebbi State”.
Speaking on the significance of the  International Women’s Day celebration, the wife of the Governor said its not just a day to sing and   dance on the street, but it also lies on the ability to provides a platform for collective actions and collaboration in advocating for women’s rights and empowerment.
She added that it should  also be a day to enable women to have economic stability that would go a long way toward achieving equality efforts.
In his remarks the sole administrator of the area Alhaji Sani Aliyu Kulita  thanked  the wife of the governor for the kind gesture extended to his people describing it as huge investment the people of the area would not forget in hurry.
 He urged the people of the area to continue to support present administration of Dr Nasir Idris.
