The Super Eagles of Nigeria officially opened camp in Warsaw, Poland, on Monday ahead of their international friendly against Poland, with 18 players reporting for duty on the first day of preparations.
The Nigerian contingent began settling into camp as Head Coach Eric Chelle and his technical crew welcomed the early arrivals for the highly anticipated encounter.
A total of 18 players were present in Warsaw by Monday evening, although only 16 participated in the team’s first training session as preparations gathered momentum.
Among the players already in camp are goalkeepers Maduka Okoye, Francis Uzoho and Arthur Okonkwo, while experienced stars Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon, Frank Onyeka, Raphael Onyedika and Semi Ajayi also reported early.

The attacking department is boosted by the presence of Terem Moffi, Paul Onuachu, Akor Adams and Rafiu Durosinmi, while defenders Bruno Onyemaechi, Zaidu Sanusi, Emmanuel Fernandez and Igho Ogbu are also in camp.
Young midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi and Abdullahi Ibrahim complete the list of players currently with the team.
The Nigeria Football Federation is expecting more players to arrive in camp in the coming days as the Super Eagles intensify preparations for the friendly match against Poland.
The fixture presents another opportunity for Coach Chelle to assess his squad and continue building a competitive team ahead of future international assignments.
