Former Bendel Insurance and Ihefu SC of Tanzania defender, Benjamin Taminu has expressed satisfaction over his invitation to the Super Eagles ahead of top-grade friendly matches with Ghana’s Black Stars and Les Aigles of Mali, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Tanzania-based Taminu will team up with the group for the first time ahead of both matches that have been put together by NFF’s FIFA Match Agent, Jairo Pachon of Eurodata Sport.
“Glad to have been invited to the Super Eagles of Nigeria for the upcoming International Friendlies against Mali and Ghana.
“I’m most excited and thankful to the NFF and the coaching crew for the invitation. Clarion call heard, to serve Nigeria with all my strength.”
While Nigeria and Ghana will resume their rivalry at the Grand Stade de Marrakech from 4 pm Morocco time on 22nd March, the encounter between Nigeria and Mali will commence at the same venue from 9 pm on Tuesday, 26th March.
