… Sets deadline to sign Nigerian
Inter Milan has received approval from Oaktree to increase their offer for Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman. The club believes Lookman is the right player to address gaps in its attacking department that have persisted in recent seasons.
The Italian club is now offering approximately €45 million, along with €8 million in potential add-ons. According to Italian sources, Lookman is expected to sign a contract that extends until 2031.
Lookman’s desire to continue his career at San Siro has led La Dea to adjust their stance, as reported by La Repubblica. He has only agreed on personal terms with Inter and is prioritizing this move as long as the deal remains viable.
Discussions between the clubs are ongoing through intermediaries, following a €40 million bid from Inter and a €50 million request from Atalanta. Meanwhile, Atlético Madrid is becoming less optimistic about signing Lookman and is beginning to explore alternative options, such as Lille’s Matías Fernández-Pardo.
