…House will hold session on Kebbi, Kwara, Niger states attack’s — Abbass

The Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris has observed that the way insecurity is going across Nigeria, enemies of the country are planning to truncates democracy and there is urgent need for Federal Government to change the Military tactics.

Idris,who stated this while addressing the House of Representatives delegation,led by the Speaker, Hon.Tajudeen Abbass at Government House, Birnin Kebbi during the solidarity visit to the state, requested the House to probe the sudden withdrawer of the Military deplored to Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School Maga few minutes before the bandits attacked.

The noted that last week, it week, it was Kebbi,few days ago it was Kwara and yesterday,it was Niger stressed that nobody knows whose turns will be tomorrow.

According to him ” Mr. Speaker,we are in the trying period, but the House must do something about this insecurity situation in this country. And the way things are going,it is as if our enemies are working to truncates this democracy. if it is continue thIs way,only God knows where we are heading to”.

Idris who asked the Speaker and entire House of Representatives to intervene in probing the sudden withdrawer of military from the Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School Maga, Danko- Wasagu local government area,noted that up till now,the leadership of the Military have not responded the question of who gave the withdrawal order.

” I am pleading that the House of Representatives should wade- in and invites the Military Authority to find out about the circumstances,who among their leaders gave the order that the Military withdraw”.

Governor Idris who urged the Federal Government to change the Military tactics,noted that the system they are applying are not working.

” Federal Government must review the security arctecture, this system of our security are applying now, honestly are not working”, he said.

The Speaker,House of Representatives,Hon. Tajudeen Abbas who sympathize with the people of Kebbi State and the Government, disclosed that the Lover Chamber would hold special session on bandits attacked on Kebbi,Kwara and Niger states to give the Representatives from the state to tell the world what happened.

Abbass said that,the House would also invites the USA Ambassador to the session to contribute to the session stressed that,they would come out with the blue print that would be forwarded to the appropriate quarters.

The Speaker, who described the attack on Maga school,as rude shock to the House of Representatives, said,the Lower Chamber are ready to partner with the Kebbi State Government on the security issue.

Abbass appealed to the Governor to name the Maga school after the Vice- Principal who was killed by the bandits adding that the House has donated N30m to the victims families.

In his remark , the House Leader,Alhassan Ado Doguwa described the insecurity in the country as a difficult moment in the country,and prayed to Almighty God to assist the country to summounted the challenges.
