Apostle Victor Oku, Senior Pastor, Divine Mercy Church International, Lagos has predicted that that there will be no new government in 2027, noting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be re-elected in spite of the gangup against him by some key politicians in the country.
You prophesied that Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu would win the 2023 Presidential election and things will improve because Nigerians would begin to enjoy the dividend of democracy. But in the past two years of his government, Nigerians are complaining of hunger and hardship. What is going on?
God told me, and I prophesied on February 11, 2023 that Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu would win the Presidential election which came to past. And that he is going to rule for eight years and that Nigerians will rejoice. I also said that at the beginning of President Tinubu’s reign, things will be difficult, but with time things will improve. That was and still what God told me to tell Nigerians. Even as hunger and hardship is biting hard, God said, very soon we will rejoice. We should not hope on President Tinubu, rather we should hope on God and see how He will lead us to triumph over economic and every other challenge under the reign of President Tinubu. Notwithstanding, hardly does politicians fulfill their campaign promises and that is why most Nigerians are not happy with the government. But if God chooses a leader, He has a way of turning things around for the good of all.
The newly formed African Democratic Congress (ADC) has vowed to send Tinubu and his party packing in 2027. But you’re saying God is still with this government?
Yes, God is still with President Tinubu and this government. Tinubu will be re-elected in 2027, no matter the gang up against him. Man cannot thwart the will of God because God has not come down, and never will he – to assist anybody or nation, but will use somebody as his agent to favour someone or a nation. The reason for the growing criticism of this administration and why some persons are against Tinubu’s re-election is because he refused to do things as usual which kept Nigeria in a sorry state. We have criminal elements who don’t want the will of God to come to past in helms of affairs. But the truth is that the will of God concerning Nigeria must surely come to past under this administration. Meanwhile, Nigerians are complaining about acute hunger and hardship they are facing since President Tinubu took over which is human nature to complain when things are not going well. And that is why President Tinubu has come up with a lot of measures to cushion the effects of his economic policies in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda. However, God’s ways often defy human logic and fairness. My advice is that President Tinubu and his cabinet, while trying to succeed, should team up with God because without divine help is futile. So, God chose him above other candidates in 2023 because he will find solution to the nation’s problem. My strength and calling is by divine source which symbolises divine power and authority. God has raised spiritual block around Tinubu with powerful men of God and Christians who are praying for the government to succeed and meet the needs of Nigerians. Nigerians must know that the battle to redeem the country’s numerous challenges is not carnal, but spiritual warfare hence the Bible said “By strength shall no man prevail” So, God is with President Tinubu and will give him victory in 2027.
Some groups, including some from his ethnicity, have criticised his administration over the escalating insecurity and worsening economic hardship, and asked him not to bother contesting in 2027. But you say God is still with him?

Sometimes God allows certain situations for a purpose, even though He doesn’t derive joy in the suffering of his people. Firstly, no President or military Head of State has ruled Nigeria since 1960 without fuel subsidy. President Tinubu is the first Nigerian leader to govern the country without fuel subsidy. Therefore, we must go through some pains before gain. The irony is that after prophesying for these leaders and it comes to past, they forget God who enthrones them in the leadership position. They forget to continue to be in line with their vision by not drawing closer to God. After I prophesied that Tinubu would win the Presidential election in 2023, I invited him to come and get update on his divine assignment, but till date he has not come. Notwithstanding, there will be no new government in 2027 because God said Tinubu will be re-elected no matter the gang up against him, Nigerians will re-elect him to accomplish the task of putting Nigeria on the path of glory.
Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani recently advised politicians not to dump religious leaders after using them to attain power and peace in the country during elections. It seems you’re supporting nthe governor?
What Governor Uba Sani of Kadunda said is the truth of how we are treated by most Nigerian leaders after God has used his servants as his mouthpiece to guide politicians to electoral victory. They immediately dump us after using us at least to attain peaceful elections and eventually emerged victorious. God always gives prophetic solutions to what He has revealed and it is the duty of that leader to follow God’s instructions by being close to that prophet. Because true prophesies are not mere words; there are words after words. In my last interview, I invited President Tinubu to come and see me or if he is not chanced he should send any member of his family. Because it is not all that God directed me to tell him that can be said on air. It is unfortunate that when politicians are seeking to be elected into public office, they would visit churches where the prophet or pastor is truly an instrument of God to pray for and intercede for them, but immediately God blesses them and they win, they forget God. You cannot be drinking from a tap when you don’t know the source of the water because the Bible says, we should try all spirits. These leaders God mandated with a definite task after they are crowned you won’t see them come back to ask the prophet or pastor what more God wants him to do. Because every King needs a prophet to rule and lead the people right. So, once again I use this medium to invite President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to come and hear further messages from God concerning the 2027 Presidential election. And what really needs to be done to meet the needs of Nigerians. Some people around the president have been criticised for their handedness. But some are saying the president cannot caution them because of the role they played in his 2023 victory.
Nobody has ever become President or leader of a nation or people without God’s approval. God does not see as men sees things, because He is the all-knowing God. He knows the end from the beginning, hence politicians troop to churches and mosques, and even to traditionalists to seek God’s consent whether they will win if they contest elections.
During the recent Lagos State Local Government election, a chairmanship candidate of APC came to me with his wife and God said he will win and I prayed for him and he won. So, a leader doesn’t have a religion and should not be religious. Already, President Tinubu has made significant political inroads by wooing the keys governors in South-South to defect to APC which include Akwa Ibom, Edo, and Delta states. And he is in firm grip of Rivers State and with deliberate effort by the President he has reshaped the political organogram ahead of 2027 general elections. Unfortunately, these developments are not being met with adequate resistance from opposition parties. Therefore, God must use people or persons to make His words and prophesies to come to past. He can use anybody even as He used so many people, including Wike in 2023 to enthrone Tinubu as President of Nigeria. So will God also use people to support President Tinubu and APC to retain power in 2027.

The November 8, Anambra State governorship election is going to be bloody because certain opposition governorship candidates will do everything possible to win. There will be complete lockdown in the state. There are three things I saw in my revelation concerning the election that cannot be thrown in the air.
